To maintain discipline, ensure student safety, and create a positive learning environment, the following rules must be followed by all students of Modern Public School:

General Conduct:

  • Students must maintain discipline and show respect to teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times.
  • Politeness, honesty, and good manners are expected in and outside school premises.
  • Disobedience or any act of indiscipline will lead to strict disciplinary action.
  • Damaging school property or writing on walls/furniture is strictly prohibited. Fines will be charged for damages.

Attendance & Punctuality:

  • Students must arrive at school at least 10 minutes before assembly.
  • A minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear in examinations.
  • Absence without prior intimation or valid reason is not allowed. A leave application signed by parents must be submitted.
  • Students returning after 3 or more days of absence must produce a medical certificate (in case of illness).

Uniform & Appearance:

  • Full school uniform must be worn daily, including on examination days.
  • Uniforms should be clean, ironed, and well-maintained.
  • Boys must keep their hair short and neat. Girls must tie their long hair properly with black ribbons or hairbands.
  • Wearing expensive jewelry, nail polish, mehendi, or makeup is not allowed.

Academics & Homework:

  • All homework and classwork must be completed regularly and neatly.
  • Students must bring all required books, notebooks, and stationery.
  • Copying in exams or using unfair means will lead to the cancellation of that exam and strict action.

Use of Electronic Devices:

  • Mobile phones, smart watches, and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside school premises.
  • If found, the device will be confiscated and returned only to parents after a written warning.

Transport Rules:

  • Students using school transport must follow safety rules and maintain discipline inside the vehicle.
  • Misbehavior during the commute may lead to suspension from the transport facility.

Other Guidelines:

  • Parents are not allowed to visit classrooms during school hours.
  • No student is allowed to leave the school premises during school hours without permission from the Principal.
  • Participation in school events and activities is encouraged to build confidence and leadership.
  • Note: Repeated violation of rules may lead to suspension or even dismissal, depending on the severity of the misconduct.
